City Club of Tacoma

To provide a nonpartisan forum that brings people together to explore issues and ideas affecting the South Sound community.

City Club’s dinner and lunch programs provide an opportunity to get together with other civic-minded people within our community that you may not see at other “networking” events. The club regularly welcomes leaders and dignitaries on issues affecting the arts, business, education, the environment, human services, law and justice, the media, the military, philanthropy, politics, and more. We welcome ideas for program topics, or volunteers for our committees.

During the program, a sole speaker or a panel of speakers addresses the group for about 30 minutes, followed by questions from the audience for another 15–30 minutes (dinner meetings have more time available than lunches), allowing for lively discussion.

Our programs are open to the public, but members receive a discounted rate.
